4th of July Banner

Hi! Evelyn here from My Little Craft Blog!  Long time, no see.  How have you been?
I wanted to show you the banner I made from the recent freebie from Close to My Heart: the mini-banner.

All the cuts are from the Art Philosophy cartridge.  I guess they made the mini banner to coordinate with the cartridge.  It went together pretty easily once I figured out the size I needed to cut everything.  The patterned paper for the banner pieces are cut at 4 inches and the letters and stars at 2 inches.  The paper is also CTMH, called Fanfare.  And that yummy twine is from Trendy Twine.  The ribbons and buttons are from Michaels.

I think it turned out great!  And there’s a surprise on the back.  You could really only hang a Fourth of July banner for about two weeks out of the year, so . . .

I made something a little more generic for the back of the banner.  I couldn't let it go to waste!  The primary colors look good together, and now I have a banner I can use for any occasion as well as something for Independence Day!

I hope you come visit me at My Little Craft Blog!  and if you don't already have Art Philosophy, or Artiste, or need any other scrapbooking supplies, I would be glad to help you.  You can view the online CTMH catalog here.
